Homestead Lake Immingham

Homestead lake is a 1.2 Hector coarse fishing lake set within 3.037 hectors of wildlife habitat on the outer limits of Immingham.
It contains many different spiecies including Carp to 28lb, Roach to 2lb, Bream to 6lb and plently of smaller spiecies like Rudd, Perch as well as Gudgeon.
Homstead Lake is one of the finest unspoilt natural wildlife habitats in North East Lincolnshire.
Since April 1st 2007, the lake has come under the control for the next 7 years with the nationally accredited 'Get Hooked on Fishing' (GHOF) Project.
North East Lincolnshire Get Hooked on Fishing, is the 10th such project in the UK and sets out to teach angling to young people from schools, youth clubs, agencies and parents in the region.
CRB checked Licensed Angling Coach's are used to teach about the environment, safety and the theory and practical angling skills aimed at providing a long term leisure / sporting activity for the student.
Litracy, numeracy, science and biology along with practical training is all provided in a fun, relaxing and individually tailord manner. Computer simulator PC Programmes will also be used to assist in training and will also be available for students to take home.
The GHOF Project has been seen as a huge sucess throughout the other regions and has recently recieved government support as well as featuring in national newspapers.
