David Hanson MP for Crime and Policing visited West Marsh Community Centre recently. He was impressed with the work of the "Get Hooked on Fishing and Sports Lincs Football in the Community Coaches and Apprentices". "The commitment from these young people is vital in reducing ASB" he said.

After recent visits by Prince Charles and Conservative Leader David Cameron the Get Hooked on Fishing team felt humbled when they were invited by Nigel to tour the facilities at Hill Holt Wood.

The 3 year funding provided in May 2007 by Shoreline Housing Partnership to launch the Get Hooked on Fishing Project ends in May 2010.

Will this be the end of the project that has achieved so much in the region? The Project Leader Mark Fenty and his Management Group are currently exploring various options to keep the project running hopefully for many more years to come.
